I led the UX design for an AI-Based Roofing platform that functions like an assembly line, with AI automating the workflow and roofing specialists verifying each step. My process began with extensive user research, focusing on the needs of roofing specialists to create detailed personas and user journey maps.
A unique challenge was ensuring that the interface clearly indicated the current step in the process and allowed for quick, efficient interactions. To address this, each step was distinctly branded, making it immediately obvious where users were in the workflow.
Additionally, I assigned unique keystrokes for every action that were highlighted in the UI, to enable quick operation. Collaborating with developers, we integrated these features to create a seamless, efficient user experience that balances automation with necessary human oversight.
The final design successfully streamlines the roofing process, enabling specialists to work quickly and accurately. This platform greatly reduced the time solar design takes currently in the industry
